Field coordinator (2) - Youth Vision Society - Gaza
Youth Vision Society is a Palestinian non-profit association established in Gaza in 2009.
YVS aims to promote the concepts of civil engagement in accordance to vision that can meet needs of Palestinian youth through raising democratic awareness to contribute in the development process. YVS is starting recently implementing “Strengthening Community Participation for Talented Palestinian Youth (Youth Got Talent)” in partnership with “Civic Participation Program”, funded by US Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Catholic Relief Service (CRS). Youth Got Talent project aims to enhance leadership and entrepreneurship civic engagement among talented Palestinian youth to express their issues and needs.
YVS seeks to hire qualified candidates for the following Vacancies:
Title: Field coordinator (2)
Work Base: Gaza Strip
Reporting to: Project Coordinator
Duration: 8 months
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the daily progress of the project activities.
2. Close follow-up of project staff in coordination with the project coordinator.
3. Ensure field work complies with project working plan and timeframe
4. Assist project coordinator in following up project activities.
5. Contribute to the development of project work plan
6. Contribute to the identification of potential difficulties and determining means of lessening or avoiding them.
7. Provide the project coordinator with regular reports of activities undertaken and activities planned.
8. Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications/Experience:
1. University degree in business administration, social sciences, or any related fields.
2. Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably in a similar role.
3. Fluency in both English & Arabic languages including both written and verbal communication skills.
4. Excellent writing and reporting skills
Personal Skills:
1. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with strong personality
2. Excellent planning and administration skills.
3. Initiative, self-reliant and cooperative.
4. Excellent Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook…etc.
5. Excellent time and organizational management skills.
6. Excellent ability to work under pressure and carry out multiple tasks
7. Highly motivated to work within teams
