| The Economic and Social Development Center of Palestine (ESDC) is seeking to fill the position of a full-time professional and committed Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer to be based in the project office, Jenin.
وظيفة شاغرة : موظف المراقبة و التقييم - المركز الفلسطيني للتنمية الإقتصادية والإجتماعية جنين The M&E Officer will handle the M&E tasks in the implementation of a joint developmental project in partnership with Care International in the Jenin and Tubas Governorates. Job Responsibility #1: Project monitoring, evaluating, and Impact capturing -Assists in the development of detailed project M&E system in cooperation with the project management unit and Impact and learning team (ESDC, ARIJ, CARE) -Works with project staff to collect routine monitoring data according to the project developed plans -Guarantees the collection and the compiling of information about the progress of the project’s inputs, outputs and indicators and demos, and to maintain the database -Conducts data analysis with project staff and report the results against the indicators and impact measurements according to the logical frame work , highlighting early indicators on challenges or achievements in cooperation with the I&L team -Prepares success stories and case studies and other program publications on program accomplishments and impact. Set and enforce deadlines -Disseminates the project intervention results and achievement from beneficiaries, communities and CBOs point view -Participates in the Documentation the project demonstrations results and progress, -Assists in the implementation of M&E researches for the project, and follow up surveys related to the purpose of evaluation by the end of the projects. Oversee final external evaluation of program, including planning and coordination with evaluation teams -Works with the Project coordinators and project team to identify lessons learned so they can be shared internally within TATWEER, CARE and partners. -Follows up on action plans and implementation, ensure full documentation of each stage and implementation on time. -Coordinate and work collectively with partners team.
Job Responsibility #2: Documenting and Reporting lessons learned: -Leads the preparation of the progress report with project staff -Provides the Project coordinators with up-to-date overviews of progress on project implementation -Prepares regular narrative reports according to the M&E system. -Assists the project assistant to update and develop the filing and documentation system -Classifies the reports and provide the project team with information relevant to the project -Analyzes the reports and provides them with relevant data for reporting -Promotes dialogue and best practices among stakeholders -Prepares recommendations for all levels of management, considering materiality, pertinence and documentary evidence -Together with the related Specialists from CARE, ESDC and ARIJ, act as gender point person and hel oversee gender work with beneficiaries and finalizing any gender tools and gender reports.
Qualifications: -3-5 years of professional experience in a related field is essential -BA or MSc degree in social science /development or related field -Excellent writing skills in both Arabic & English -Excellent communication and networking skills -Utilization of Microsoft Office mainly Word, and Excel -Leadership skills -Work under pressure -Writing reports skills -Mentoring and training background desired -Valid driving license is required.
